Everywhere you look there are new offerings from the Big 5 to become a new customer and open a new account. No extra fees, cash offers, free iPads…To drive new account openings we went for a really human approach (okay and a cash offer to sweeten the deal). Our key message (to strategically align with TD’s TV spot) was that ‘TD makes it easy to get the help you really need. We believe human problems need human centric solutions.’ And that’s exactly what we showed, scenarios we could all relate to. Each tactic had channel-specific messaging across all the different stages of the funnel (awareness, consideration, acquisition).
